Hanging on

Today is July 31, 2010 & I am still here.
Every week my Nurse checks me over & says I am doing fine.
Need to gain weight so taking bodybuilding protein power.

Final Days-05/30/10

According to the Doc I have only about (3) weeks to live but I'm trying to prove him wrong.

5 to 6 months

Finished (22) radiation treatments (3) weeks ago. Yesterday had chest x-ray & head scan & both of the tumors are the same size as before.
Not going to take chemo for just an extra (6) weeks. Body will not take it.
Doctor has authorized hospice-in-home.
My scalp has finally quit itching, can now sleep in bed as I have quit coughing.
My BP, oxygen is good, no pain anywhere.
Just have to get my appetite back as I am still losing weight.
Have paid for immediate burial next to my parents.
Would like to have an iPhone just to play around with.
Thanks for being my friends.

Thank goodness the treatments are over.

Probably got (2) more weeks before scalp quit itching, swelling in feet goes down, & hopefully get my appetite back.

Went to Podiatrist about trimming toenails & fungus on left big toe.

Blood pressure--01/25/10

BP pressure was 82/62 & Dr. says I am dehydrated.
BP back to normal the next day after drinking all day & night.

Dry,hacking cough will not let me sleep in bed & the (2) hours in the recliner is not good. Got to talk to Dr today.

our 1953 Humboldt High School has mini-reunion last night & it went very well.

Some classmates cannot believe I did everything all but myself. But I did.
